Process Simulation & I/0 Emulation

Brock provides process simulation as a means to validate new facility processes and material handling solutions during the design process. After an on-site assessment to understand the new design or to understand an existing process, we use a 3D modeling program to build and test the new process model(s). The result is validation of the new design before construction, which will minimize costly surprises discovered at the end of the construction process.

Brock provides I/O emulation as a means for end-users to have visibility into the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) software development process so their equipment software can be tested and approved before site commissioning. I/O Emulation represents all the I/O equipment within the OEM solution emulated in a computer program that physically connects to the OEM’s actual automation controller. I/O emulation allows complete off-line testing to occur, which can save up to 6 months of on-site commissioning time compared to traditional approaches.
